HOW I CAN HELP
- Pod Tutoring: also called “pandemic pods,” micro-schools or nano-schools — are small groups of students (typically three to 10 children) who learn together outside the classroom. This is ideal for families who want to extend their child’s team learning opportunity in a controlled and safe environment.
- Accelerated Learning: a multi-dimensional approach to learning where students can control the speed and method in which they are instructed. If your child gets bored in class, this may be the right approach for them.
- Supplemental Learning: weekly review sessions for students in selected courses. Ideal for students who want to improve their understanding of course material and improve their grades with the support of a certified teacher.
- Executive Functioning Coaching: Executive functions are categories of skills the brain uses for general organization and judgment. They include attention and focus, working memory, impulse control and self-evaluation. Coaching in this area is best suited for students who need help with things like better note taking, organizing their course materials and prioritizing assignments.
- ADD/ADHD Coaching: I am a believer in a collaborative, supportive, goal-oriented process in which I work together with your family to identify the right goals for your child. I will then work with them to develop self-awareness, systems, skills, and strategies necessary that they need to achieve those goals and their full potential.
- Secondary School Admissions Coaching: finding and applying to independent middle and secondary schools can be complicated. Given my years in admissions at several private schools, I can guide your family through the various stages of the school admission process.
“David consistently adjusts instructional methods to meet individual student needs, always working to overlap content with skill-oriented activities. He is willing to find ways to help students gain stronger comprehension skills by creating academically appropriate and differentiated activities.”

A Fun Way To Teach Fractions: S’mores
Fractions are one of the hardest mathematical concepts to teach students for several reasons.
